[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]According to Rockford police, a man is now under care and fighting to stay alive due to being ran over this weekend. Whoever hit the man did not stop at all, but continued driving and left him for dead in the alley. That is where he was found in the wee hours of Sunday, around 2 a.m.
Investigators for the case believe that the victim was walking his way to the Aragona Club when a speeding vehicle came along and carelessly ran him over, then kept going. He was found in the alley of Kent Street, fortunate to still be alive.
The hit-and-run victim has not yet been publicly identified, but we do know that he is twenty-three years old.
There is absolutely no excuse for a hit-and-run accident to occur. Its especially hard to understand when the victim is a pedestrian. Yet, these things continue to happen. If you or someone you care about is ever a victim of such a crime, call the law offices of GWC.
