GWC Supports the Brain Injury Association of Illinois

Golf-OutingGWC Injury Lawyers was pleased to sponsor and participate in the Brain Injury Association of Illinois 21st Annual Golf Outing & Dinner hosted at The Glen Club in Glenview, Illinois, on Oct. 6, 2015.

Proceeds from the event supported the Brain Injury Association of Illinois in its mission of supporting civilian and military individuals who have suffered a brain injury.

According to the Centers for Disease Control, approximately 1.7 million people in the United States sustain a traumatic brain injury every year. A bump, blow or jolt to the head, most commonly caused by falls, auto accidents or being hit in the head, can lead to a brain injury.

The nonprofit organization offers education and awareness events, support programs and additional resources for those who have suffered a brain injury, as well as family and friends and the community as a whole.

“With so many of our clients having suffered brain injuries, we believe it is very important to educate the public and provide assistance to those people and their families who have been affected.” says Michael Goldberg. “This organization has been very effective in supporting the many people suffering brain injuries in Illinois.”

The attorneys at GWC Injury Lawyers are committed to community service and are proud to support such a valuable organization in our community.

Thank you to everyone who was able to join us at the golf outing to support this worthy cause.
