Crash Between Ambulance And School Bus Injures Two | GWC Law

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]An ambulance hit a school bus this morning on the Northwest Side. Authorities say that the automotive accidenthappened shortly before 9 a.m. At the intersection of North Central Avenue and West Grand, in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood.

A police spokesperson said that two adults were taken to local hospitals and that no children were on the bus at the time of the crash.

Another serious school bus accident happened in Lake County on Friday. That accident involved a Newport Elementary School bus carrying 34 children. The bus was hit by a 62-year-old man driving a Jeep at the intersection of Route 173 and Kilbourne. The Jeep driver was killed and many children were injured when the bus flipped onto its side.

“Some people were screaming, ‘I’m bleeding,’ and blood was dripping on the floor and some teeth were on the floor,” one 10-year-old student said.

News reports vary, but almost all of the students were taken to the hospital. The crash is still under investigation.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
