Luis Carrasco Dies in Work Accident

At approximately 9 a.m., Carrasco was on the 11600 block of South Burley Avenue. According to police and the medical examiners office in Cook County, Carrasco was struck by a truck.

Carrasco was walking near the unloading area when the truck struck him. More details will be announced after the autopsy on Thursday. Unfortunately, Carrasco was pronounced dead at the scene and did not make it to the hospital alive.
