GWC Sponsors Shoot for a Cure Charity Sporting Clays Shoot

GWC sponsored Shoot For a Cure to raise Money for the Lymphoma and Leukemia Society. 140 shooters showed up and the 4th annual event sponsored by GWC. Our GWC team took 2nd place overall with Louis C. Cairo, soon-to-be new associate Louis Cairo Jr., Elevator Constructors # 1 business manager Dan Bauman, and family friend Juan Garcia shooting for the firm. Louis Jr took an overall 1st place in the entire event, crushing 94 of 100 targets in the event.

GWC Law has teamed up with Briggs4Kidz and has agreed to donate $100 for every solo tackle Lance Briggs makes this season.

Briggs4Kidz is a non-profit organization that raises funds and awareness to help the emotional and financial struggles of todays poverty stricken youth.  The organizations goal is to help those who are less fortunate, predominantly in and around the Chicago area. Recently, Briggs4Kidz has expanded its reach to help the youth in Sacramento, California and Tucson, Arizona.

GWC Hosts Peggy Browning Fundraiser

GWC is proud to be a Fellow Sponsor of the Peggy Browning Fund. Peggy Browning Fund raises money for the placement of Law Students who are advocates for social justice in the workplace. This organization allows law students to intern in organizations devoted to the advancement of Workers Rights Labor Law and Public Interest Law. This years event will be held on November 7, 2013 at Teamsters City Auditorium. This years honorees are Karen G.J. Lewis, President of Chicago Teachers...
