Michael Knobloch was born and raised in Peoria, Illinois and attended Illinois State University and taught at Peoria High School before attending law school. He graduated from The John Marshall Law School, cum laude, in 2005. Michael began his legal career in Chicago, but has returned home to Peoria where he manages GWC’s two office locations in Peoria. Michael primarily represents clients in Peoria, Bloomington/Normal and throughout Central Illinois. Michael has established a reputation of being a tireless advocate for his clients. He has represented hundreds of clients throughout the State who have been injured in construction, automobile, premises, toxic tort and product liability cases.
Since joining GWC in 2010, Michael has recovered over $20,000,000.00 in verdicts and settlements for his clients. He has consistently taken cases to trial in each of his years with GWC whenever the insurance carriers have failed to offer fair and complete compensation for his clients’ injuries.
Prior to joining GWC, Michael was an associate at another Chicago law firm where he worked closely with GWC partner, Colin OMalley, in successfully settling the largest and most complex toxic tort case in firm history.
Michael is an active member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, Peoria County Bar Association, and Chicago Bar Association. When not working on behalf of his injured clients, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and children.
