Casa Italia Honors Louis Cairo With Man of the Year Award

Optimized-louis-cairoCasa Italia, an Italian cultural center located in Illinois, has selected Louis C. Cairo for its coveted Man of the Year award.

Casa Italia is one of the largest non-profit organizations devoted to the preservation and promotion of Italian culture in America.

Mr. Cairo will be recognized at the 45th annual dinner dance taking place on April 11, 2015. The event will be held at the Alta Villa Banquets located in Addison, IL.

Everybody feels at home at Casa Italia. Thats why I am so proud to be a supporter and even prouder to be their 2015 Man of the Year, said Mr. Cairo.

Mr. Cairo is a senior partner at GWC Injury Lawyers, where he devotes his legal practice to helping injured workers and their families. He is particularly involved in assisting construction workers who have been hurt on the job.

He is an aggressive trial lawyer who plays hardball with employers and their insurance companies when they decide to take advantage of injured workers.

Mr. Cairo shared his pride as a member of the Italian American community in a letter entitled Why I Support Casa Italia. In it, Mr. Cairo shared his childhood Sunday night Italian dinners involving homemade pasta and rich sugo.

As a proud supporter of Casa Italia, Mr. Cairo cites the organizations commitment to providing books, exhibits and artworks that help connect children and adults to their roots.

Events like Italian film screenings and the onsite Italian restaurant are a great way to help expose children to their heritage. The Cairo family and many others benefit from the services provided by Casa Italia.

From all of us at GWC Injury Lawyers, we send a hearty congratulations to Louis Cairo!
