On July 8, 2017, GWC Injury Lawyers attended the Bernard J. Spatz “Dollars Against Diabetes” Softball Tournament. This annual event is organized by The Chicago & Cook County Building & Construction Trades Council to raise money for diabetes research. GWC served as the Refreshments and Concession Sponsor.
The event was held at St. Christina’s Fields in Chicago, with teams from sixteen union locals participating. This year’s winning team was Operating Engineers Local 150, while Boilermakers Local 1 were the “Consolation Champs.”
The Chicago & Cook County Building & Construction Trades Council is a central body AFL-CIO labor organization and an affiliate of North America’s Building Trades Unions. It represents approximately 100,000 workers from twenty-four affiliated organizations in the union construction trades for the Chicago and Cook County areas.
