The event took place on Thursday, May 5, 2022, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the offices of IBEW Local 710 in Warrenville, IL. GWC Managing Partner Louis C. Cairo and Director of Marketing and Communications Kevin Daugherty represented the firm.
Together with dozens of union leaders representing the fine men and women of organized labor, Louis and Kevin enjoyed excellent Cinco de Mayo Mexican cuisine and heard some of Illinois’ top Democratic officials speak on their support for union labor.
Among the attendees were Gov. JB Pritzker, Speaker of the Illinois House of Representatives Emanuel “Chris” Welch, Rep. Sean Casten, and Rep. Bill Foster.
The DuPage County Building Trades PAC Fund held the event to raise monies on behalf of candidates and views that are similar to those supported by organized labor. All contributions will be reported to the State Board of Elections.
