On May 9, 2017, GWC Injury Lawyers Managing Partner Louis C. Cairo spoke at a fundraiser for Judge Frederick H. Bates. Judge Bates is running for Circuit Court Judge in Cook County’s 2nd Judicial Sub-Circuit. Mr. Cairo serves as Co-Chair of the Committee to Elect Frederick H. Bates.
Judge Bates is a 30-year resident of Chicago’s South Side. He has over 34 years of legal experience, including two years as a Circuit Court Judge, 15 years as an Administrative Law Judge and Hearing Official, and over 15 years as a trial attorney. Judge Bates has received favorable ratings from several Illinois bar associations and has received numerous endorsements from labor unions, members of the judiciary, and elected officials, including Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle, who serves as Honorary Campaign Co-Chair.
