Jim Hardy, an elite personal injury lawyer who has practiced at GWC Injury Lawyers for more than three decades, has recently been elected to the board of directors for the Illinois chapter of Kids Chance.
Kids Chance is an organization whose mission is to help give children of seriously and fatally injured workers a chance to achieve their educational dreams. GWC Injury Lawyers is proud to be involved in establishing the Illinois chapter of this worthwhile organization.
GWC Injury Lawyers is Illinois’ largest Personal Injury and Workers’ Compensation law firm and it is important that GWC does everything possible to help the children of seriously injured workers. The children of our clients as well as the children of those represented by other injury law firms all deserve a chance at an education and it is our goal to make sure that the Illinois chapter of this organization is a success, said Michael Goldberg, founder of GWC law firm.
Kids Chance creates programs and funding opportunities for affected children across the United States. The organization provides program development so that state chapters have the administrative and financial resources to grant educational scholarships. Jim Hardy and GWC Injury Lawyers are working hard to create a robust Kids Chance program in Illinois.
Hardy has a wide ranging legal practice with an emphasis on workers compensation cases. He has represented clients who have been involved in catastrophic accidents and who sustain emotional and physical injuries.
Additionally, Hardy is ideologically committed to the rights of workers and their children. Hardy grew up in a union family and spent several years working with U.S. Congressman William O. Lipinski, a man deeply committed to organized labor and the rights of workers.
At GWC Injury Lawyers, our firm represents the interests of injured workers and their families by using the law, engaging in activism and providing volunteer services.
