New Year’s Eve Poses Risk

 In General Interest Blog

New Years Eve is regularly associated with parties and drinking, and to an extent, thats okay. Its the choices that are made afterward that might change or end a life. New Years happens to be standing in the third slot for being the most dangerous day on the road.

According to previous mortality reports, motor vehicle accidents are the number one cause of death for people 25 & under. In addition, 40 percent of these happen to be alcohol-related accidents.

Did you know that a driver with a blood alcohol content of 0.10 or above risks being seven times more likely to play a part in a deadly motor vehicle crash than one who has not been drinking at all. One with 0.15 or above is around 25 times more likely.  Dont risk it!

We here at GWC urge you to keep yourself and the rest of Chicago safe by NOT drinking and driving. If you happen to be a victim of someone elses negligence, contact us immediately to seek justice. Have a safe and very happy new year!
