On April 8, 2019, at approximately 5:32 p.m., a semi truck was traveling northbound on Interstate 90/94, near Madison Street in Chicago’s West Town neighborhood. According to the Illinois State Police, the semi truck drifted from the right lane of traffic and into the left lane, where the semi truck violently collided with another vehicle.
The driver of the truck and five people in the other vehicle were treated for injuries sustained in the semi truck accident. The truck’s driver may have been experiencing a medical emergency, according to police.
