Raul has also gained valuable experience successfully handling cases for workers with total hip replacements, total knee replacements, carpel tunnel syndrome and spinal fusions. He has also successfully handled wrongful death cases.
Given his Hispanic background and bilingual skills, Raul has devoted much of his career to representing Latino-American men, women and families in Illinois who have suffered serious injuries on the job. As part of his work with the Latino community, Raul regularly gives lectures to latino workers on their work place rights and work place safety. As Evidence of his commitment to the community, the Mexican Consulate of Chicago named Raul as one of its advisory attorneys for labor and work injury matters. Raul also frequently appears on Spanish media outlets, including La Raza newspaper and Univision, to discuss workers rights.
Due to his accomplishments so far in his legal career, Thompson Reuters Super Lawyers Magazine recognized Raul as a rising star in 2013 and 2014, and Hispanic Executive magazine featured Raul in its Latinos in the Law issue in 2012 and 2014.
Raul is a graduate of the University of Florida, Cum Laude, and DePaul University College of Law. He is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, The Illinois State Bar Association and the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois.
