GWC Injury Lawyers is proud to have sponsored the 10th Annual Midway Shoot for a Cure Charity Sporting Clays Shoot. The yearly shooting event raises funds to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). GWC Managing Partner Louis C. Cairo served as the Event Co-Chair along with Michael T. Carrigan, President of the Illinois State AFL-CIO.
This year’s Shoot for a Cure event was held on August 25th at the Max McGraw Wildlife Foundation in Dundee, IL. Over 160 shooters attended, raising more than $40,000.00 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Founded in 1949, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education, and patient services. Since its inception, the organization has provided more than $600 million for research on blood cancers. Additionally, LLS has coordinated a nationwide informational clearinghouse for medical professionals, patients, and caregivers.
