On Sunday Nov. 23rd, five people were injured in a rollover accident on I-90 and the Des Plaines Oasis. On Sunday afternoon, in an accident involving a single vehicle, Illinois State Police reported that two kids were ejected from the car as it crashed and rolled over.
The two children sustained non-life threatening injuries and were immediately transported to Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation and there are no detail about what caused the driver to crash.
Two additional adults and a child were not ejected from the car and were transported to a different hospital. The adults and the child who were restrained in the vehicle were transported to Northwestern Community Hospital. None of them were in critical condition, and were believed to have sustained only minor injuries.
