In Search of a Cure Event Raises Record Amount for Autism

For many years, the law offices of GWC Injury Lawyers have been proud sponsors and contributors to cutting-edge research and Autism awareness.

One event in particular – an annual golfing gala held by the “In Search of a Cure” foundation – has championed the need for continued autism research for more than 14 years and in the process, has experienced tremendous success, having raised more than $5 million dollars since it’s inception.

In what is commonly referred to as “the Rolls Royce of union golfing outings”, this year’s event organized by Mr. Terry Hancock – President of Teamsters 731 and the Vice President of Teamsters Jt. Council 25  – and our own Bryan Hancock, attracted more than 600 attendees, with the hosts chartering four golf courses – two at Silver Lakes and one each at Ruffled Feathers and Old Oak.

Michael and Sherry Goldberg, Louis and Gloria Cairo and GWC were again the Main sponsors of this worthy fundraiser with a donation of $50,000.

“We are very proud of Bryan Hancock and the entire Hancock family for what they have done to raise money for Autism research and awareness. We have seen the great strides that Bryan has made over the last 14 years and especially the maturity and confidence he has shown in the last 2 years since Bryan came to work for GWC.” says Michael Goldberg

The entire team at GWC would like to congratulate the event planners, organizers and staff for hosting such an enjoyable event and we appreciate the opportunity to contribute to this worthy cause.

Our personal injury law firm is committed to giving back to the local community and helping to raise money for autism research one golf outing at a time.
