The law offices of GWC Injury Lawyers are delighted to announce the winners of the 2015 GWC Cook County High School Legal Scholarship. The scholarship was created to further the education of students at the university level. All eligible high school seniors in the area were encouraged to participate.
After a careful review of scholarship applications the essays written by these exceptionally talented Cook County students took top honors.
The winners are:
- Janeise Davis Homeschool
Inspired by childhood experiences, Janeise is homeschooled and plans to pursue a career in bionics.
- Antoine Foggs Uplift Community High School
Someone who finds solitude in books, Antoine aspires to be a writer and help people find their own personal escape in books.
- Marcelo R. Tanon St. Patrick High School
With a self-proclaimed love for science, Marcelo plans to major in Biochemistry with a long-term goal of becoming a Sports Medicine Doctor.
- Betsy De La Cruz Pritzker College Prep
Motivated by her family to do well in college, Betsy hopes to make her family and her mother proud.
