Only Five Percent Qualify as Super Lawyers
In addition to Louis, GWC Partners Michael D. Fisher and Joseph P. Sorce were named Illinois Super Lawyers this year. All three attorneys are multiple-time recipients of this award.
Being designated as a Super Lawyer is reserved for the top attorneys in their areas of practice, as determined by their peers and the Super Lawyers review board. Candidates are judged according to a number of criteria, including verdicts and settlements, experience, honors and awards, professional activity, pro bono and community service, lectures and writings, and other outstanding achievements.
Only five percent of all licensed attorneys in each state are ever selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers.
GWC’s Rising Stars Are Repeat Honorees
Additionally, GWC’s Jacqueline C. Hickey, Timothy J. Keiser, and Raul V. Rodriguez were named Illinois Rising Stars for 2021. This designation is awarded annually by Super Lawyers, and it places them among the top 2.5 percent of all attorneys in Illinois under the age of 40, as determined by their peers.
All three of these young lawyers are repeat honorees. This is Jacqueline’s third time being named a Rising Star, Tim’s fourth, and Raul’s fifth.
