Leading Lawyer Reserved for Top Five Percent
GWC attorneys James E. Babcock, Jr., Bennett J. Baker, Joel J. Block, Harris L. Elliott, Michael D. Fisher, Joseph P. Sorce, and Daniel H. Streckert were named Leading Lawyers this year. Joel, Michael, Joseph, and Daniel are all repeat recipients.
Being named a Leading Lawyer is reserved for the top attorneys in their areas of practice. Fewer than five percent of all licensed lawyers in each state ever receive this designation.
Only Two Percent of Young Attorneys Named as Emerging Lawyers
Lawrence J. Amato, Deanna Cairo Arthur, Louis Anthony Cairo, Timothy J. Keiser, and Raul V. Rodriguez were also honored as Emerging Lawyers. Emerging Lawyers are attorneys age 40 or younger who are drawn from survey recommendations made by attorneys who have earned themselves the distinction of Leading Lawyer. Fewer than two percent of attorneys are named as Emerging Lawyers.
